Denise Barlag - Medical Transcriptionist
Denise has been a Medical Transcriptionist with CHO since January 1998. She has worked in the field of Hematology-Oncology since 1977 and finds her work very interesting and enjoyable.

Jeannette B. - Supervisor, Reception Area 

Jeannette has been employed at CHO since October 1996. Jeannette supervises the receptionist area at both Hyde Park and Northern Kentucky and her responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling patients’ appointments and coordinating the doctors’ schedules.

Prior to CHO she worked four years as an Oncology Receptionist and 17 years as a Retail Office Manager. She lives in Colerain Township with her husband and her son.


Sherry B., RN- Chemotherapy Nurse
Sherry has been with CHO for over a year. She loves working at CHO and providing patient care.

Marilyn Boskind - PRN, Medical Transcriptionist

Marilyn has been with CHO since September 1995. She has 30 years transcription experience and has worked in different specialty fields besides oncology for the past 12 years.

She loves to travel and enjoys spending family time with her husband Jon, son Cory and her dog Sheba.


Susan Bradley, RN – Chemotherapy Nurse

Susan just graduated from Good Samaritan College of Nursing one year ago. She turns “50” this year and is happy to say she finally knows what she wants to be when she grows up, an Oncology Nurse. Susan is a widow. She was married to her best friend, Larry, for 25 years. She has two children Jason, 30, and Jenny, 24. Jenny is a nurse and Jason is in nursing school. Jason is married to Lora and they have given Susan two beautiful grandchildren, Evan, 6, and Lauren, 3. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, interior decorating, and working in the yard.


Michelle Brown - Biller / Collector

Michelle recently moved to the Cincinnati area and joined the Cho staff in November 2005. Born a member of the military family she was raised in Bad Hersfeld, Germany before moving to Savannah-Tybee Island GA in the late 80’s. She has several years experience in medical billing and thoroughly enjoys and looks forward to the daily challenges in her profession and every opportunity that allows her to be a member of the billing team and lend a helping hand to the patients and families.

Michelle loves music, having sung the blues while living on Hilton Head Island, is an avid reader, enjoys landscaping in her spare time and her favorite, spending time with her 2 year old Huskie-mix Jake. While she occasionally gets “beach fever” and is counting the days until summer vacation, Michelle is thrilled to be a part of the Cho team and is learning all the wonderful things Cincinnati has to offer.


Peggy Brooks, RN, OCN- Northern Kentucky Nurse Supervisor
Peggy has been with CHO since 2002. She previously has worked as a nurse all over the country and the majority of her time spent working with oncology patients. Peggy is the nursing supervisor in the NKY office and really enjoys working with all of the patients. She lives with her husband Frank and her cat Lu-Lu. In her spare time she likes to sleep and keep up with her son, Travis (T-Bird), who is away at college.

Robin Cholak – Volunteer

Robin Cholak was born and raised here in Cincinnati. She graduated from Woodward then went to University of Cincinnati where she then went on to teach school in Cincinnati. She taught for 35 years and then returned in 2003. Robin now volunteers at Cho and has been for about 2 years. Her hobbies are raising Labrador retrievers, enjoying the outdoors, walking with dogs Asra, Ebony and Elizabeth. She now lives in Glendale with her husband Claybourne. Robin is Dr. Cody’s patient and has been cancer free for almost 2 years now.


Debbie Cleveland – Chemotherapy Nurse

Deb has been a registered nurse for 26 years which includes over two and a half years of oncology nursing. Deb graduated from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoys oncology nursing and especially caring for Cho patients! Deb enjoys swimming, boating, and gardening in her spare time.


Kristina Cornett – Medical Records Supervisor

Kristina joined the Cho team in August 2005 after recently moving to Cincinnati with her boyfriend, David. She enjoys going to car shows, being outdoors, and watching movies. She also enjoys being with friends and family, especially during the summer when they go to camp down in Rising Sun and ride Seadoos on the Ohio River.


Brenda Corwin – Biller/Collector
Brenda has been part of the billing department at CHO since September of 2002. She has 14 years of prior medical office experience. She and her husband Jon live in Amelia with their daughter Mary. She enjoys reading, gardening, horseback riding.

Josh Deardorff – PRN, Billing

Josh has been with Cho since May 2005. He is currently attending the University of Cincinnati, where he is majoring in Accounting. His main job is in the area of billing, but he does numerous others around the office. Josh likes to go camping, hiking, and golfing in his spare time.


Dawn Ernstes - Medical Assistant                                                                                     Dawn recently joined CHO after being a medical assistant for 1 year. She hopes to start nursing school in the near future. She enjoys basketball, horseback riding, and spending time with her boyfriend on the softball field. She loves watching football on Sunday. Dawn feels privileged to be part of the CHO team.


Polly DiFillippo – Chemotherapy Nurse
Polly has been with Cho since October 2006. She graduated from Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing. Polly is happily married to Loren and has three children. Tory, Erin, and Nicholas. She feels privileged to be a member of the Cho team!

Bonnie Flaig - Volunteer                                                                         Bonnie has been a patient of Dr. Cody's since March 1999 and has been volunteering at CHO since that time.  Bonnie lives with her husband, George, of 37 years and their dog, Mr. Max.  Bonnie and George have three grown boys.  Bonnie helps the nurses in anyway she can but especially enjoys spending time with the wonderful patients at CHO. Bonnie especially enjoys spending time with the new patients and tries to ease their fears and make them more comfortable .  Bonnie enjoys reading, crafting, entertaining friends, and traveling.


Jody H. - Receptionist

Jody has been the Receptionist for CHO since August 2000 and has been working as a receptionist for 12 years.  Jody's interests are reading, hiking, horseback riding, and playing with her two dogs.  Jody looks forward to a long and happy employment with CHO.


Katie Hart, RN, BSN – Chemotherapy Nurse

Katie has been with CHO since August 2005 and works at the Northern Kentucky office. She received her BSN from NKU in May 2005. As much as she likes working with the patients in the office, she also is a part-time faculty member at NKU working with students preparing to take nursing boards. In addition to both jobs, she is a full time student working on her master’s degree. She hopes to reach her goals of teaching nursing and eventually working as a nurse practitioner. In any spare time she has, Katie enjoys watching the Reds, the OSU Buckeyes, and the Bengals, taking her puppy Ginger to the dog park and spending time with her boyfriend, Chris and her family.


Thom Hockney - Medical Assistant
Thom has been employed with CHO since May 1998. He trained as a field medical corpsman and c-ray technician that was completed in 1988 at Oakland Naval Hospital. Following training, he spent 4 years with varying Marine units as a corpsman in Camp Le Jeune North Carolina. Outside interests include travel, golf, and boating.

Jill Hunt - RN, Chemotherapy Nurse
Jill was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. She went to nursing school at Raymond Walter's College at the University of Cincinnati. Jill worked in pediatric hematology-oncology for 1.5 years and the Children's Hospital ER for 4 years. Jill is happily married to Andy and has two children Jeffery and Jenna. In her spare time, Jill enjoys playing with her two dogs Rex and Rocky. Jill favorite hobbies are coaching JV/varsity cheerleading at a local high school and traveling.

Laura Hunt, RN- Chemotherapy Nurse
Laura has been with CHO since the beginning of 2005. She loves caring for CHO patients. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with an Associate's Degree.

Heather King - Collections/Biller

Heather has been with CHO for 8 years. She currently lives in Brown County, Ohio with her husband Will and her two adorable golden retrievers, Duke and Bella. She is very active in the bus ministry at Bible Baptist Church, Mt. Orab. Heather enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, walking, and spending time with her husband and her two dogs.


Mary Beth King – Volunteer

Mary Beth enjoys being a volunteer at Cho. She likes working with the patients and helping the nursing staff. She has been a patient since 2000. Mary Beth has two wonderful grown children. Austin lives in Atlanta, GA and Michelle lives in Charlotte, NC. She likes to garden, decorate, and entertain.


Heather Kron – Collections/Biller  
Heather is one of the newest additions to CHO and brings with her nearly a decade of billing experience. She currently resides in Westwood with her husband Spencer and their two black labrador retrievers, Quin and Fisher. She has many interests and hobbies which seem to spill over to her working life as well. She and her husband have a retail store specializing in fly fishing. Heather enjoys spending time with her family (including her dogs) whether it be camping, gardening or just relaxing at home. She is a wonderful cook and loves to plan home improvements.

Regina Lampe, RN, OCN - Chemotherapy Nurse
Gina graduated from The Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1989. She acquired her Oncology certification in 1994. Gina began working in oncology right out of nursing school on the inpatient unit, where she stayed for 8 years. Then after marriage and a child she relocated to the The Christ Cancer Center, where she stayed for approximately three years. Gina started at Cincinnati Hematology-Oncology in December of 1999 as a treatment nurse. In May 2003, she accepted the physician coordinator position. She has worked in oncology for 15+ years. Gina has a 11 year old daughter, 2 cats, 5 goldfish and 1 dwarf hamster.

Eve Murphy - PRN, Chemotherapy Nurse
Eve has been working as a nurse for 10 years, six of which has been
in oncology. She has worked PRN at CHO since 2004 and PRN for St.
Elizabeth South Medical Center, where for the last five years she has
been in ICU and IV therapy. Eve is a musician/singer/songwriter and has
published with SESAC. She has a prerelease project and a full CD. Eve
recently had twin girls, which are thirteen months old now. She is just
getting back to playing after this busy year.

Sarah Ostrozny – PRN, Assistant Administrator

Sarah began working at CHO in January 2003 after receiving her Master of Health Administration from Ohio University . Sarah worked as an Administrative Resident and Fellow for CHO until August 2005. In August, Sarah began law school at the University of Cincinnati . She now works at CHO during her breaks and in her spare time. Sarah also spends time with her two pugs, Georgie and LuLu.


Jamie P. - Receptionist
  Jamie was born and raised in Cincinnati. She loves to play with and watch her daughter Hanna grow. In her spare time Jamie likes to hang out with her family. Jamie is glad to be a part of the CHO staff.

Kim Phillips - Billing Supervisor
Kim has been with CHO for 6 years. Kim is a breast cancer survivor and was able to deal with the treatments, both physically and mentally, because of support from fellow patients and coworkers. The patients make Kim’s job very rewarding and fulfilling. Kim’s daughter, Kati, has also entered the medical field as a radiation therapist at Mercy Anderson Hospital. She enjoys outdoor activities, sports and spending time with her daughter. Kim married in April 2005 to Grady Phillips. She has a step-daughter, Nicole, and two dogs.

Kathy Poff – Assistant Physician Coordinator
Kathy came to Cho as a medical assistant in 1999 with a background in OBIGyn and oncology. In 2005 Kathy accepted the position of assistant physician coordinator. She enjoys working in her flower boxes and the outdoors.

Lynn S., RN - Chemotherapy Nurse

Lynn is a wife, mother of two, stepmother of three, and grandmother. Lynn has been a nurse for 30 years and at CHO for three. She enjoys long walks, cutting the grass, and playing with her granddaughter. Lynn has a new grandson “TJ” born 4/26/2006. Her favorites are ice cream, veggie pizza, and the TV show Boston Legal. Lynn’s necessary part of survival is HUGS!!


Teresa Smith- Medical Assistant

Teresa has been with CHO for 2 yrs. She attended Cincinnati Metropolitan College. Teresa enjoys interacting with patients, and meeting new patients. She has three children Justin, 15, Jacqualynn, 13, Mark Tyler, 9. In her spare time she enjoys huge family functions, and watching her children at sporting events. Teresa also enjoys making jewelry, playing volleyball, and cross stitching. She believes every patient coming to the practice is a part of her family.


Gail Stewart- PRN, Medical Records Clerk

Gail is a part-time medical records clerk. She enjoys singing at church, writing poems, and watching good movies. Gail has been married for 14 years, and has a daughter who is 13 years old who loves stuffed animals. Gail’s daughters favorite one is a pink elephant named Murphy.


Ellen Tulanko - Collections/Biller

Ellen has been employed at CHO since October 2003 as a billing associate. She has 6 years experience. While she enjoys her employment with CHO very much, her favorite activities include spending time at home with her husband Mike and 4 children.


Debbie A. Truesdell, RN, OCN - PRN, Chemotherapy Nurse
Debbie has been with CHO since 2000. She currently works two days a week in the Northern Kentucky office. She works full time at St. Luke East in the ICU. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 1992 and is currently an oncology certified nurse. Her family includes her husband, Tom, two sons, Brian and Chris, and two daughters, Suzanne and Peggy. She also has three dogs, Dusty, DJ, and Lady. She is a member of the local and national Oncology Nursing Society. She also works as a clinical instructor for Gateway Community College for their KMA course.

Delana Webb – Chemotherapy Nurse
Lana has been a nurse for almost ten years. She has been an oncology nurse for almost three years and has worked for Cho almost three months. Lana lives in Rising Sun, Indiana where Grand Victoria Casino is located. She enjoys camping on the weekends with her family, riding bikes, and going fishing. She also enjoys watching her kids participate in sports with her husband. Lana goes to different rock concerts at Riverbend in the summer and spending time with her friends and family all year round.

Kathy White RN, OCN - Nursing Supervisor
  Kathy graduated from The Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1992 where she received the school's Nursing Leadership Award. She has been an oncology certified nurse since 1999 and has been with CHO since October of 1997. She currently works as the nursing supervisor and manages the clinical area. She is a member of the Ohio Medical Group Management Association and the national and local Oncology Nursing Society where she serves on the local chapter program committee. Kathy is married to her husband Jim and has two sons, Danny and Chris and dog Codie. In her spare time she enjoys walking, dog training, gardening, playing golf and spending time with her family. 

Sharon Z. - Volunteer
Sharon has been a patient of Dr. Mannions since May 03 and has been volunteering at CHO since that time. She lives with her husband, David, of 5 years and their three dogs. Tobby, Hannah, and Alfie. Sharon has 3 grown daughters and 2 grandkids. She loves to help in anyway she can.
